GCHS Paws Up

Pets bring joy to patients

Our Pet Therapy Program is a volunteer program and is comprised of people and their pets who come from varied backgrounds - shelter workers, veterinarians, social workers, nurses and the list goes on. They are all devoted to their pets and their pets to them. Paws Up allows its members to take this love and share it with people in their times of special needs. Both Driscoll and Memorial Hospitals have opened their doors to our program. We're excited to have this opportunity to help us promote what we're about - showing the benefits of the human/animal bond.
