A Wag of the Tail to our Volunteers!
SHIRLEY KAHL Shirley has been a foster mother to countless numbers of little orphan babies that have been too young or weak for us to take in at GCHS. The foster care program is so important, and Shirley has been a hero for our little orphan animals. She understands that, for every foster family, one more life is saved. Shirley says that "being a foster mom is the most rewarding thing I've done." We say "Shirley, you are an angel.” JAN HAMILTON Jan arrived at GCHS as a volunteer almost a year ago. Throughout her time here, she's helped find homes for several of the cats and kittens, and gives many hours of love and kindness to the little orphan kitties that reside here. Jan also spends time at home sewing wonderful blankets, pillows and other items so that our cats will have something soft on which to sleep. Thank you, Jan, for all you do. KAY FISCHER Kay joined the GCHS family in August 2000. She is a dedicated volunteer with only the best interests of our pets at heart. She's always been very precise about making sure all boo-boos are promptly reported to clinic staff. Kay has provided many hours of love and affection to our pets, and we hope she'll remain a part of our family for many years to come. |
